Indianapolis 500 Historical Weather Data

Here is the historical weather data for the days the Indianapolis 500 ran laps. Note, days that were completely rained out were not included. The data is from NCDC and is from the official station for Indianapolis at the time.

This Sunday's race looks to be the hottest ever with temperatures getting into the mid 90's. The previous highest temperature for a race was 92ยบ on May 31, 1937. Click images below to enlarge.
