Work Week Outlook...Warm To Start, Cooler Finish

Looks like a nice warm start to the week before rain and then cooler weather takes over. Here's the forecast for Lafayette from the Indianapolis NWS...

Today: Sunny, with a high near 64. West northwest wind between 8 and 13 mph. 

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 45. West southwest wind around 9 mph. 

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Breezy, with a south southwest wind between 11 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. 

Tuesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Southwest wind between 9 and 13 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. 

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 58. West southwest wind 7 to 11 mph becoming north northwest. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. 

Wednesday Night: Showers likely, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. 

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. 

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34. 

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
