As well, last summer up until this point, had a severe lack of rainfall at IND. June 2012 was the driest on record with 0.09", and the second driest month on record. The first six days of July 2012 had no measurable rainfall as well. 2013 has turned back to a more normal precipitation pattern, though the airport is drier than most surrounding areas.
