Texas Drought And Some Relief

Nothing exciting happening in Indiana, so I thought I'd mention the rainfall that parts of Texas has and is receiving. Of course it's known that pretty much the entire state of Texas is suffering through one of their worst droughts in years. The recent rainfall is certainly no drought breaker, but it is of some relief. Here are links to the NWS offices in Texas and their reports of the rainfall so far:

San Angelo, TX NWS Office

Norman, OK NWS Office - covering parts of northern TX

Dallas/Fort Worth, TX NWS Office

Austin/San Antonio, TX NWS Office

Needing Rainfall

Looking at the radar at noon today, there are storms firing to the north of here...but looks like they will remain a miss. Still a chance of storms this afternoon, but I'm not confident...

Abnormally dry conditions exist for a good chunk of the state of Indiana: http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/DM_state.htm?IN,MW
